New pregnancy
We can provide care that meets you at any stage of your pregnancy and can work alongside your family doctor or primary care provider. Don’t have a family doctor? You don’t need a referral! Just contact us to book an appointment, and we’ll handle the rest.
Routine pregnancy care
Our expert family doctors are trained with a special focus on pregnancy care, with support from specialized nurse practitioners and other health-care providers. We can follow you throughout your pregnancy and will coordinate all the necessary tests and consultations. Our team is trained to provide excellent care.
Delivery and after-delivery care
All our patients deliver at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton, a community-based hospital with access to obstetricians and pediatricians if needed. Patients and newborns receive six weeks of after-delivery care, including contraceptive counselling and long-acting contraception insertion. Our services meet a range of needs.
Parking Update
The DBHSC surface parking lot is using the HonkMobile parking system for a trial period. Here’s what you need to know:
- There are no changes to underground parking. Patients who use the underground parking garage at DBHSC can still receive discounted rates. Bring your parking slip to your appointment to validate it.
- There are no discounted rates for the outdoor surface lot.
- During the HonkMobile trial, gates to the surface lot will be kept open. However, you still need to pay for parking.
- If you park in the surface lot, you must use the Honk app to pay. This app is available through honkmobile.com, Google Play or the Apple App Store.
McMaster Family Practice does not manage or control parking. If you have questions or need help, contact McMaster Parking Services at 905-525-9140 ext. 24232 or parking@mcmaster.ca. Additionally, there will be an attendant available onsite to assist you.
