The Maternity Centre doctors will look after your baby from the time of birth until you are discharged from the hospital. Follow up care will be with your primary care provider one to two days following discharge from the hospital.
If you have a complication, we will connect you with the most appropriate provider for yourself and your pregnancy. We often support our specialist colleagues and may still be involved in your care or your newborn’s care.
We will connect you with a family doctor before the delivery of your baby. You can self refer for our services (you do not need a primary care provider to refer you).
